Delainy Szmyd

Delainy Szmyd is a Wyoming native who has come to call Colorado’s Western Slope home, embracing everything the region has to offer — from its mountain landscapes to its close-knit community. Her path to medicine began at the University of Wyoming, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology, building a strong foundation in the science of how the human body works. She went on to pursue her passion for patient care at Colorado Mesa University, earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
Today, Delainy Szmyd is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant, credentialed through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and she is fully licensed to practice by the Colorado Medical Board. She brings a dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care to her practice, drawing on both her rigorous clinical training and her genuine connection to the Western Slope community she now calls home.
