The Liver Clinic focuses care on the diagnostic evaluation and management of acute and chronic viral hepatitis (such as hepatitis C and B), alcoholic liver disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune liver disease (such as autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cholangitis), inherited and metabolic liver disease (such as hemochromatosis), cirrhosis, and pre/post liver transplant care.
The Liver Clinic offers FibroScan technology, which is a non‑invasive test used to assess liver stiffness. The result is immediate, it shows the condition of the liver and allows physicians to diagnose and monitor changes. Exam results help to anticipate possible complications, as well as to monitor and assess the damage caused by conditions such as cirrhosis. The FibroScan examination is painless, quick and easy.
